My alix board arrived. Waiting on the power supply which should be here tomorrow
My 3 new projects that i have decided to take on are the following:
1. Changing the surveillance camera system to utilize better cameras that are night sensitive.
2. Building my own firewall device including a DHCP server. I will be using an ALIX 2D2 board and pfSense software for the firewall.
3. Migrating some data from my 13TB WHS to an UNRAID solution using a new Atom dual core processor. This will allow better usage of the hard drive space and the atom board will cut power usage by ALOT!
I will post more about each project as they progress.

The lift was delivered around 10am. Installation was completed around 2:30pm. It went very smoothly. I had some help from some members of corvetteforum.com. Their help was ESSENTIAL! What really helped was that one of the members has the exact lift and did the install in the past. He just flew threw the assembly. Here are some pics
Just got back from maryland today. It took about 1.5 hours more than normal to get back. I had to turn around 2 times because the road was a pile of snow. Here are some pics. Notice the snow is as tall as a semi truck in one of the pics.

I ordered a Greg Smith Equipment Direct Lift Pro Park 8S Lift. Its a 4 post lift, and will allow me to park 3 cars in a two car garage. Also, it will give me the ability to do all the work on my own cars.
Install is scheduled for Saturday. Pictures will be up after that.
