No shocker to most of the people that know me…I am happy with the Range Rover for now. I may look for something else in the future.

My Parking Sensor is ready to test
Finished the code for the parking sensor in about 10 minutes. I am using an arduino duemilanove microcontroller. The Arduino Duemilanove is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328. It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button.
I am using a PING))) Ultrasonic sensor, a large red LED, and the arduino. When an object gets within a certain programmed distance (in this case 40 inches), the red LED lights up. The sensor is amazingly accurate down to about 2 cm. Also, the response time in change in distances is within milliseconds.
Spent the last hour lowering the Vette.
I spent the last hour or so lowering the Z06. Its pretty easy to do. Just jack it up, put a jackstand on the leaf spring, lower it down on the jackstand and remove the tension on the spring. Take a 10mm wrench and crank a bolt until it wont turn any more. repeat on all 4 wheels and your done. I will test drive it tomorrow some time.
B&B Fusion exhaust installed :)
Now my car sounds like a 500+ hp car should sound. Everything is installed, the lift is a lifesaver. I have to recheck the bolts later on to make sure they stay tight. Audio/Video clip to come in the future.
Vette = work in progress
The stock exhaust is sitting on the garage floor awaiting the ups man tomorrow. I will be replacing the catback system with a b&b fusion exhaust. It is a by-valve exhaust system that uses the stock exhaust air line to switch between a mild tone to an aggressive tone. I will try and post a sound clip when I get it installed. Hopefully will be on the car by Wednesday night.
