One Year Anniversary

Today was our one year anniversary. We pulled out the top of our wedding cake to celebrate. With some hesitation, I took a bite. Pretty much what I expected one year old cake to taste like

My mom and grandma just left, they were out for a quick visit. Was great to see them, glad they made it out to see us!
We got a new car tonight

After 3 grueling hours at the dealer, we left the jaguar with them and left in a black 09 Honda civic lx. There are 2 main reasons for the purchase: better on gas and more reliable/under warranty.
Now, some of my friends that read this are going to think I am crazy for getting a civic. They have always known me to have nice sports cars. Well, I say this to those friends…wait until next summer and see what I have then!
The civic gets about 35 mpg on the highway. This is double what the Jaguar got, and about triple what the land rover gets. This should make Corinne’s commute alittle easier.
It’s dark and raining now. I will try to get a picture up tomorrow.
House has siding & flooring!

We went to the house today to take a look…and were shocked to find it was about a third of the way done! It had only been 2 days since we had been there last. On the inside, they have most of the flooring done and all the cabinets ready to install. We’re getting there!

It’s official…we made the move today. Made the trip safely, just getting settled in. Now just waiting for the house to be ready!!!

Tonight we had dinner at Stone Mansion. It is the place I proposed to Corinne, so I thought it would be nice to eat there one more time before we moved. We leave tomorrow morning, so I am going to get back to packing.

We just got back from my friend’s wedding in South Carolina. Man was it hot! i saw 103 degrees on the car thermometer. The wedding went well and the newly married couple leaves for their honeymoon tonight.
