After our last power bill I decided to try and start saving a little more power during the day. I ordered a TED 5000. TED (The Energy Detective) is a simple, yet extremely accurate, home energy monitor that allows you to see electricity usage in real-time. You no longer have to wait for the ‘electricity bill surprise’! TED will accurately tell you what your bill is going to be long before the electric bill arrives. Meanwhile, you will learn more about conserving energy, saving money, and helping save the environment.
With the help of Corinne’s father, he got it installed in no time. The unit needs to be placed around the main trunks of power coming into the circuit breaker.

I cant comment on the accuracy since I havent received my power bill yet. Plus, i installed it in the middle of month, so I will know in about 1 month from now.
